Mission Statement
What we believe:
All power in heaven and earth is given to Jesus Christ by almighty God. God has put all things under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and has made Christ Head of the Church, which is His Body.
Believing this, the Mission of the Banner Elk Presbyterian Church is to call all people to a personal acceptance of and a growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Responding to him in faith, this church will:
- demonstrate in our lives, as we speak and act, the love of God as revealed in Jesus.
- nurture the personal and spiritual growth of persons of all ages and circumstances.
- worship God with heart, mind, soul and strength, being mindful of the joy of our salvation.
Acknowledging that all gifts are from God, we joyfully share our time, talents and resources with our church, community and world. In an atmosphere of love and good fellowship, we seek to further God’s will in His Kingdom.
