Youth Elder Elected
Ben Garris, freshman at Appalachian State University and child of the church, was elected the first youth elder in Banner Elk Presbyterian Church history. Ordained and installed on Sunday, March 2, Ben begins service to the church by leaving on the 7th for a mission trip to Haiti. Ben is a strong and committed Christian young man who will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ in his service to the church and community.
